The Siemens Science Teacher Initiative Awards recognizes exceptional middle and high school educators. The awards seek to identify teachers who go above and beyond to motivate and inspire their students. In addition to the awards, a trophy case is presented to the educators’ schools to further highlight and promote academic achievements.

Awardees are selected based on their extraordinary commitments to education. These educators go far beyond the curriculum by introducing new knowledge and activities to their students. By integrating hands-on activities with involved teaching methods, students are able to gain a deep understanding of science.
