The Siemens Foundation Founder’s Award is an annual monetary award of $15,000 given to an individual in recognition of their work in encouraging students to participate in math, science or technology research programs, as well as provide the necessary support consistent with the Foundation’s mission of enhancing math and science in American high schools. The award is presented to the recipient's affiliated organization (i.e. school, lab etc.).
Nominating Process:
To submit your entry, please provide the following information. Nominations will be accepted up to the deadline of Friday, October 2, 2006.
The winner will be notified on Tuesday, November 1st, 2006. He or she will travel to New York to attend the Siemens Competition national finals on December 3rd & 4th, 2006 as a guest of the Siemens Foundation, and will be recognized at the annual Siemens Competition National Gala recognition dinner, Sunday, December 3rd, at the New York Hall of Science.
