2011 Siemens Competition

On October 21, the Siemens Foundation announced the Semifinalists and Regional Finalists of the Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology, revealing the brightest high school minds in contention for the nation’s most coveted teen science prize. Now, the regional events are complete and the national finalists are headed to Washington, DC December 2-5, 2011 to compete for the grand prize.

 


On Monday, December 5, 2011 , the Siemens Foundation will announce the individual and team winners and present them with scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. The press conference and award presentations will be shown live via webcast at the link below. Mark your calendars:

WASHINGTON, DC, December 6, 2010 —The year’s highest science honor for high school students was awarded to astrophysics research on star formation and computer science research on identifying emotion in the human voice in the 2010 Siemens Competition in Math,

Science & Technology, America’s premier science research competition for high school students.

About the Competition

The Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through science research. Through this competition, students have an opportunity to achieve national recognition for science research projects that they complete in high school. It is administered by The College Board and funded by the Siemens Foundation.
